Addressing Paresthesia: SR CarnoSyn® Technology

A key development in beta-alanine delivery was SR CarnoSyn® sustained-release technology. This formulation was designed to moderate the rate of absorption and reduce the likelihood of paresthesia while maintaining effective delivery of beta-alanine. This innovation supported more consistent use in clinical research settings and expanded investigation of beta-alanine supplementation across broader populations beyond traditional athletic applications.

Expanding Formulation Flexibility: TriBsyn®

As consumer needs evolved, demand increased for additional paresthesia-free delivery formats beyond tablets, including powders and functional applications.

TriBsyn® was developed as a next-generation beta-alanine ingredient designed for formulation flexibility. Using Hydro Oleo technology, TriBsyn® is engineered to support improved dispersion and bioavailability characteristics compared to standard beta-alanine powder forms. In a controlled clinical evaluation, TriBsyn® demonstrated 4× greater bioavailability with a reduction in paresthesia at the tested dose, along with improved delivery efficiency relative to conventional beta-alanine forms.

Applications and Use Cases

TriBsyn® is designed for use in a range of nutritional formulations, including ready-to-mix (RTM) powders, ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages, protein systems, dairy applications, gummies, and functional nutrition products.
